When I first started this blog site, I named it and structured it with my kids in mind. I thought if I was going to create something online then I wanted to create something that they could eventually take over. I wanted it to be something easy to navigate, wholly independent of itself, and something that if they chose not to engage in it would continue on its own. With that thought in mind “Larsons Blog” was created. It’s a name my kids share and it’s one that was graciously afforded me. I say that because the name Larson isn’t my real last name. It was the last name of the man who raised me. That of Michael James Larson or “Mick” as most people called him.
