He’s not wrong, unless The Epoch Times article is wrong, in which the Epoch Times states, “Michael Chertoff, Tapped for Biden’s ‘Disinformation Board,’ Dismissed Hunter Biden Laptop Story” If that is indeed the case, then Michael Cherkoff is none other than George W. Bush’s Secretary of Homeland Security. What makes him so special, and or concerning in regards to this appointment? Well a couple of things…
We’ll rabbit trail down why Vladimir Putin has trust issues with NATO and the UN and we’ll it short. George W. Bush used false intelligence as a means to takeout and invade Iraq, and he did so using the NATO/UN alliance… This paved the way for what Mr. Cherkoff would later for US law. Needless to say, Mr. Cherkoff at the head of anything makes you wonder if this appointment is more or less about us? Or is it a message of some kind to poke at Putin? We don’t know… But who is Cherkoff?
Cherkoff co-authored the US Patriot Act. Now, if you opened a bank account at any point after the US Patriot act passed, your bank recited or made you sign a document that stated, “To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all US financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.“
This act required deposits of $10,000 or more to be reported to the IRS, and even required financial institutions to monitor accounts for structuring of smaller deposits that add up to $10,000 or more.
Factoring that in, do you remember when Biden was talking about requiring banks to report all deposits of $600 or more? Well that happened. Butt in an about face, the Biden admin backs down on tracking bank accounts with over $600 annual transactions. Well now Mary Poppins is out, and in an ironic twist Biden decides to appoint the very man who created the law that required financial institutions to report deposits to the IRS to oversee the information that makes its way to us.
How far will the reach of this Disinformation Board go? More or less than 1984 different ways. If it could all just go sideways, and in the favor who value the first amendment, that would be great!
